29 May

PLEASE NOTE THAT TELEPHONE BOOKING CLOSES AT 4 PM AND ONLINE BOOKING CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT ON TUESDAY 28 MAY FOR THIS SCREENING. ANY REMAINING TICKETS MAY ONLY BE BOUGHT WITH CASH ON THE DOOR AT THE SPECIFIC VENUE IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO THE SCREENING.

In 1976, Mike Leigh made this TV film and introduced the world to the wonderful Alison Steadman, who became (in)famous a year later in Abigail's Party. Nuts In May is a classic Leigh creation of excruciating social awkwardness, centring on a couple whose quiet camping trip is disturbed by unwelcome outsiders. Director Mike Leigh will attend the screening for a Q&A.

Please note this event is at Parabola Arts Centre and all seating is unreserved
