A festive comedy about kids - for adults.
Mrs Horrocks' class of seven year olds are about to put on this year's school nativity play in front of their parents. Amid dropped lines, dropped tunes and telling's off, backstage politics threatens de-rail the show; Gabriel plans to overthrow the Virgin Mary, King Herod would rather host A Question of Sport and the Innkeeper is determined to liven up the traditional script with a few antics of his own.
The Flint Street Nativity focuses on the hang-ups, worries and petty jealousies of these junior individuals and their brutal attempts to mimic and impress their elders.
Ah the little …"darlings".
An amateur production by arrangement with Samuel French Ltd
