The H@mlet Effect

2 June - 3 June
The H@mlet Effect

Devised by the Company

A Hamlet for the digital age!

Daniel loves Ellie but he loves his virtual world more and exists in the confines of a single room. Ellie is a theatre designer in Berlin where the characters in her shows are becoming more real than reality. Daniel's mother has married her dead husband's brother (alas, they knew him well), and is travelling a world that Daniel views through a web of distrust until he meets Willow – should he trust him when the Devil hath power to take a pleasing shape?

This "digital Hamlet" explores the nature of being, love, revenge, hope and reality – connections and disconnections at a press of key. But change is in the ether - for each person knows what they are, but not what they may be…
